The large holding tray used to hold the large #8 counting plate that has 100 holes. The standard #8 plate only has 60 holes, so the large tray was created to hold the large #8 counting plate with 100 holes. To count pills or tablets, place the large # 8 plate inside our large holding tray and shake the system until all 100 holes are filled. The trays are made of lucite plastic. Please use soap and water to clean, the use of rubbing alcohol may cause parts to warp or crack.
